Rocky Handsome: India finally has its own James Bond equivalent!

It’s been a while that we saw John Abraham, the true blue action hero, doing some serious action. However, the latest released poster of his upcoming movie Rocky Handsome makes the wait look worthwhile.

Directed by Force-fame Nishikant Kamat, who last won accolades for Drishyam, this movie presents Abraham in the role of Kabir Ahlawat, or Rocky, a gangster (or an undercover cop, who knows). Interestingly, the trailer tells us that there is no record of his existence before 2009, so it would be an interesting mystery to grip the audience.

Like we knew beforehand, the movie carries both actions and emotions. While the action part is managed by John Abraham, who can be seen fighting a number of people single-handedly, the emotion part is brought in by Diya Chalwad, a cute girl who calls Rocky as Handsome, hence the title of the movie.

The teaser doesn’t show Shruti Haasan, Abraham’s leading lady, but we get to see an eyeful of the handsome actor, which we don’t mind.

Slated to release on 25^th March, the movie has been produced by John himself under his banner John Abraham Entertainment, and is co-produced by Azure Entertainment and T-Series.
