Colin Kaepernick is still without a job as NFL training camps are kicking into gear.

The former 49ers quarterback has seen job opportunities disappear as quickly as they seem to arise, most recently with the Dolphins calling Jay Cutler out of retirement after Ryan Tannehill re-injured his knee.

Kaepernick is not without his supporters though; many of his believers see injustice in his continued unemployment even though there are more than a few franchises with question marks at quarterback.

One of Kaepernick's supporters is director and devout sports fan Spike Lee, who will be hosting a rally on Wednesday, August 23rd at 5pm, outside NFL Headquarters, according to an announcement posted on his Twitter feed.

In what appears to be an unfortunate accident, Kaepernick's last name is misspelled in the poster.

Lee is well-versed in speaking about race relations and the ramifications of activism, as many of his films have focused on the ideas. Similar rallies have been held in support of Kaepernick, including one organized back in May that included speeches from Eric Garner's daughter Emerald Snipes, as well as Etan Thomas, a former NBA center who spoke out against the Iraq War.
