Tata Motors is looking for people with global exposure, hiring expats in top posts

As part of its global expansion plan, Tata Motors is going hire expats in key areas of its businesses.
The company is going to expand especially in Asia and Africa and will employ expatriates in departments like sales and supply chain.
One of the latest additions in this list was former Airbus chief operating officer Guenter Butschek, who was brought in to lead the company.
"Tata Motors has always been committed to hiring the best of talent across different functions. Tata Motors continues to look at bringing in the best of people into its teams from India and abroad," the company told ET.
Tata Motors wants to hire technically sound people and is looking for talent in high-profile colleges.
"They will re-focus on design and a reshuffle with a focus on some export markets is on the cards. Procurement, which has 70% of an auto firm's revenue locked, will be looked into to cut costs," a sector head, who did not wish to be identified, told ET.
