Shares of Transformers & Rectifiers surged 4 percent after the company said it bagged an order worth 124 crore rupees from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corp.With this order, TRIL, as it is popularly known in the market, said its order book position stood at 900 crore rupees. That compared with a topline of 541 crore rupees and a loss of 6.5 crores in the year to March 2015.
TRIL rose 8.50 rupees to 269 rupees on the National Stock Exchange. Nearly 47,000 shares were traded. TRIL enjoys a market capitalization of 360 crore rupees.
The stock has gained 12.6 perecnt in one month.
