As NFL preseason draws to a close and teams scramble to make last minute roster cuts, there's notable back-up quarterback news coming out of Philadelphia.

The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport first reported that the Eagles traded quarterback Matt Barkley to the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for a 7th round pick, meaning that Tim Tebow is in good shape to make Chip Kelly's final 53-man roster.

Tebow falls behind both Sam Bradford and Mark Sanchez on the quarterback depth chart, but may still see a decent amount of playing time in short-yardage situations, and as a two-point specialist.
