Volkswagen India sees 3 top level exits. Something isn’t quite right

Within a span of few weeks, the Indian sales arm of Volkswagen Group saw three top-level exits.
Anil Reddi, director of Porsche brand, Nalin Jain, Group CFO and Niraj Srivastava, head of sales of Audi in India have resigned.
Reportedly, Jain and Srivastava had put in their papers last month. Reddi, who resigned on Tuesday, and Srivastava have been relieved, whereas Jain is serving his notice period.
While, Srivastava and Jain's positions are yet to be filled up, Thierry Lespiaucq, Group MD, is likely to manage the Porsche brand till the time for Reddi's replacement has been found.
Reddi joined Porsche in 2012and had tripled Porsche brand sales in India to 700 in 2015 during his tenure.
However, Porsche had to shut down Hyderabad and Chandigarh dealerships. He was mired by a controversy when businessmen Gautam Singhania had tweeted that Porsche India's management and Reddi were 'arrogant'.
Meanwhile, Jain joined Volkswagen in October 2010 as head of financial controlling and was promoted as the CFO in January 2013.
Srivastava had joined Audi as national sales head and during his tenure, Audi had become the first luxury brand in India to cross 10,000.
Not only these,Volkswagen Group India faced many resignations in the past as well.
Head of dealer development for the Volkswagen brand, Hardeep Singh Brar, moved toGeneral Motors India.
Company’s revenue has remained in the range of Rs 8,000 crore over the past three years till the end of fiscal 2014.
