Seacrest exclaimed how cool that was.
"Yeah, I did that [at] every bookstore on my tour," explained Cranston. "I would just write it and put the receipts in there and put it back on the shelf."
Cranston said if anyone was looking at his book, they would hopefully see the little receipt sticking out that said "Open Me!" and take a peek.

"A Life in Parts" is told through Cranston's point of view and covers his life from childhood as one of three kids all the way to his stage role as LBJ in Broadway's "All the Way." He shares stories about everything from a cross-country journey he did with his brother on motorcycles to behind-the-scenes anecdotes about his time on "Seinfeld" and "Breaking Bad."
Though the book was already purchased, Cranston said he thought it was a good idea to leave it in there as a proof of purchase.
"I left the receipt so no one felt like they were stealing," he said.
