Shares of Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL) went down more than 6% during intra-day trade after the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a case regarding alleged cheating and criminal conspiracy.

The CBI registered a First Information Report (FIR) against JSPL and unidentified public servants for alleged excess and illegal mining beyond the approved area.

The case is based on a preliminary investigation registered by the CBI in September 2013.
