McGrady was on-air for ESPN's NBA-centric show "The Jump," when host Rachel Nichols told him he has a chance to be elected into the Hall of Fame.

McGrady's reaction was fantastic. He simply said, "No way," and stared in disbelief.

As production members began clapping, McGrady learned back in his chair and began laughing.

"I'm blushing right now," McGrady said, still laughing. "I don't know what to say."

McGrady continued to hem and haw for several moments before saying, "We'll see what happens. It's great to be a nominee and be on that ballot. ... This is something that I didn't see happening."

McGrady still needs to be voted in, but simply being eligible for the Hall is an honor. With career averages of 19 points, five rebounds, and four assists per game, plus two scoring titles, and seven All-Star appearances, McGrady certainly has a shot.
