GDP growth for FY16 revised from 7.6% to 7.9%

The Indian Government revised the FY16 GDP growth to 7.9% from 7.6% earlier. It also changed FY16 GVA growth to 7.8% from 7.2% earlier.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government revised FY16 nominal GDP growth to 10% from 8.7% earlier.
Meanwhile, the second advance estimates of FY17 growth will be released on Feb 28.
