Here come initial jobless claims ...

The weekly report on initial jobless is set for release at the bottom of the hour.

Expectations are for the report to show claims totaled 270,000 last week, down slightly from 271,000 last week.

This is the final piece of economic data until next Monday and comes ahead of what is a short holiday trading session on Christmas Eve.
