Thanks to Great Britain that held Belgium to 3-3 draw in a final round robin match, Indian men's hockey team has entered into the finals of the Champions Trophy, for the first time in 36 years that the tournament has existed.

The men in blue would be competing with world champions Australia tonight.

Until now, India had only won a bronze medal and that too in 1982 at Amsterdam, during the 4th edition of the tournament.

Earlier, India had lost 2-4 against Australia, but because of Great Britain and Belgium’s draw, both of them scored low points than India, making it reach the finals.
