- While many politicians took Valentine's Day as a chance to celebrate their partners, Melania and Donald Trump have been silent.
- Stormy Daniels announced on Wednesday that she was prepared to speak out about her alleged affair the president.
- The porn star has previously said she had an affair with Trump in 2006, soon after Melania Trump gave birth to her son Barron.
While many politicians are taking Valentine's Day as an opportunity to celebrate their spouses, one couple has been notably silent: Melania and Donald Trump.
The lack of a lovey-dovey Valentine's Day message from either the president or the first lady is especially interesting with the news that porn star Stormy Daniels, née Stephanie Clifford, is now reportedly open to talking about her alleged 2006 affair with President Trump.
Clifford has previously claimed she and President Trump had an affair in 2006, shortly after Melania Trump gave birth to her son Barron.

On Wednesday, the spokesperson for the adult film star told media outlets that Stormy Daniels would now be open to discussing the alleged 2006 affair. Previously, Clifford had maintained that a nondisclosure agreement had kept her from discussing the incident.
President Trump's reported affair has been making headlines since January, when The Wall Street Journal reported Michael Cohen, one of Trump's top lawyers, organized the transfer of a $130,000 payment into Clifford's account.
The first lady mostly disappeared from public engagements with her husband immediately following the report.
Trump did not join her husband on a trip to Switzerland for Davos, as originally planned. Nor did she post anything to celebrate their anniversary, as she has in years past.
In recent weeks, Trump has reentered the public eye, once again appearing in pictures with her husband. However, on the eve of Valentine's Day, the Stormy Daniels scandal once again began stealing headlines.
On Tuesday, Cohen said in a statement that he personally paid Clifford, but that neither the Trump Organization or Trump campaign was involved in the payment.
Also on Tuesday, "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" released a faux Valentine from President Trump to his wife. In the clip, made of spliced together audio clips, President Trump gets distracted from thoughts of his wife as he keeps singing his own praises.
Instead of posting pictures of her husband, Trump is spending Valentine's Day with hospitalized children at the National Institutes of Health's Children's Inn in Maryland.
