NASCAR driver celebrates first career win by doing burnouts without a steering wheel
NBCSN
Kyle Larson held off Chase Elliot and Brad Keselowski to win his first career NASCAR race.
It was a huge win for one of NASCAR's up and coming stars as it put him firmly into one of the 16 spots for the end-of-the-season Sprint Cup chase.
The win was so big for Larson that he capped the victory with his own signature celebration: he did burnouts without a steering wheel, something NASCAR had previously asked him not to do.
NASCAR had previously asked Larson not to perform his signature celebration back in 2013 when he won a race in the Camping World Truck Series. However, he brought the celebration back when he won his first Nationwide Series race (now called the Xfinity Series) in 2014.
It seems like NASCAR is going to have to sit down with Mr. Larson again.
