The ban affects over 8 lakh
While market leader Hero MotoCorp is offering discounts of up to Rs 12,500 on such vehicles depending on the segment; HMSI, which stands at the second spot, is offering a straight discount of Rs 10,000 on its BS-III scooters and motorcycles.

The fate of remaining unsold vehicle would be decided once the deadline is over.
