Video shows unmanned Russian spacecraft spinning out of control after contact is lost

A video posted by NASA shows an unmanned Russia cargo ship spinning out of control above earth after flight controllers lost contact with the spacecraft following its launch. 

The Progress 59 cargo ship was headed for the International Space Station carrying 6,000 pounds of food, fuel, and supplies. 

It launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 3:09 a.m. EDT on Tuesday (1:09 p.m. local time).
