Battle of the Brews in India

It’s not unheard of see a heated argument between individuals over whether coffee is the supreme beverage or tea is the ultimate drink. A new report by UberEats looks at how the consumption habits of these beverages varies in India from city to city.

While the metropolitan city of Mumbai drinks twice as much coffee as it does chai, Delhi’s consumption of chai is 32% higher than its consumption of coffee.

And, though most of India looks to the southern states for filter coffee, Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore consumer twice as much chai as compared to coffee.
