Upcoming car launches in December — Nissan Magnite, Audi S5 Sportback, Tata Altroz Turbo, and more

Nissan has now officially opened up the bookings for its Magnite for a token amount of ₹11,000. The car is all set to launch on November 2 and will be offered in four range variants and eight colours.

Magnite will be powered by a 1.0-litre petrol engine in the naturally aspirated and turbocharged formats. The SUV will compete against the likes of Hyundai Venue, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V, Tata Nexon, and the Ford EcoSport.The car is likely to be priced around₹4.99 - 9.35 lakh.

Tata Motors is expected to launch a turbo-petrol option of its popular Altroz premium hatchback in the Indian market in December. As per the recently leaked details, the car may be priced from₹7.99 lakh for the base XT model and the top-of-the-line XZ(O) trim will be priced around ₹8.75 lakh.

The car will compete against Maruti Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20 and Honda Jazz.

Audi India is yet to confirm the launch date of the Audi S5 Sportback. The company recently listed the upcoming S5 Sportback sedan on its official website, raising the buzz around an imminent launch. However, it was later removed from the website.

The car will come with an all-black interior, fully digital inclement cluster, flat-bottom steering wheel, virtual cockpit, large infotainment display screen, among other features. The car is expected to be priced somewhere around ₹75 to ₹80 lakh.

The Mercedes-Benz A-Class Limousine has been on the launch list of Mercedes India since the beginning of this year. However, COVID-19 has forced the company to hold back launch for a long time now. The car will come in two powertrain options that are likely to include 2.0-litre petrol and diesel motors and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol motor in the AMG variant.

It will also be equipped with the latest features such as the MBUX system, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, wireless charging, widescreen display, etc. The company has begun accepting booking for a token amount of ₹2 lakh, and the car is likely to be priced from ₹40 lakh (ex-showroom).
