Copper futures fall on muted demand

New Delhi, Apr 1 () Copper futures on Wednesday fell 0.68 per cent to Rs 375 per kg as speculators reduced their exposure due to weak spot demand.On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery traded lower by Rs 2.55, or 0.68 per cent, to Rs 375 per kg in a business turnover of 1816 lots.Similarly, copper contracts for May delivery fell Rs 1.85, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 377.10 per kg in a business turnover of 4 lots. Traders attributed the subdued demand in spot market mainly to lower copper prices. VHP SHWSHW
