Welcome to the next level of fanatic patriotism, served hot with a dash of cyber bullying and a pinch of hacking.

A badly photoshopped Bangladeshi fan's picture of Mahendra Singh Dhoni's morphed severed head has led to a cyber retaliation from across the border. Desired or not, it’s certainly unusual.

A team of Indian hackers who call themselves ‘Kerala Cyber Warriors’ have vowed to ‘avenge’ this gesture by attacking Bangladesh websites ahead of the Asia Cup Final by launching operation #OP_TROLL_BANGLADESH.

Their statement reads, "Message to the citizens of Bangladesh, your cricket team is nothing in front of us." This came up on every site they hacked along with a picture of Dhoni.

India finally defeated Bangladesh by eight wickets to lift the Asia Cup. However, there was massive outrage when a Bangladeshi fan posted an image of Taskin Ahmed carrying Dhoni's severed head.
