Finolex Executive Chairman Prakash Chhabaria Exits Delta Corp’s Board

Hospitality major Delta Corp, that runs some of the high-end casinos and hotels in Goa, has announced the exit of its one of the Board directors, Prakash Chhabaria. Chhabaria has put in his papers on December 15, 2014.

“This is to inform you that Prakash Chhabaria has tendered his resignation as Director of the Company with effect from December 15, 2014,” said the company in a letter to the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

Chhabaria was an independent director of the company. He also serves as the executive chairman of Finolex Industries Limited since 2012 and had previously held the position of managing director of the electrical goods major. Apart from Delta Corp Limited, he is also a member of the executive committee of the Pune’s Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture.
