Flipkart now at Dadri in Uttar Pradesh

India’s largest eCommerce company Flipkart has opened its new warehouse at Dadri in Uttar Pradesh for faster delivery of products and to meet the increased demand of consumers.

With this 30,000 sq.ft. facility, the online retailer’s total warehouse strength stood at 14 across India, reported PTI.

Flipkart will provide its customers in the state with access to large range of products, including TV, refrigerator, washing machine, microwave and A/C, unavailable earlier, reported PTI.

According to the eCommerce firm, the warehouse has been established to serve more consumers with a variety of products, enabling quicker delivery.

The facility currently provides mobiles, cameras, computers and their accessories, besides books, footwear and white goods, the company said in a release.

Flipkart will soon start offering large sports and fitness products like treadmills and gym cycles. Products like home ladder, gas stove, iron board, cloth dryer among others, will also be made available to the customers in UP soon, it said.

The firm’s phase one operation at the facility will cover Gautam Buddha Nagar, Lucknow, Varanasi, Agra, Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Kanpur, Allahabad, Meerut and Aligarh.

Speaking on the occasion, Binny Bansal, Flipkart COO & co-founder, said: "This new warehouse will immensely benefit our customers in Uttar Pradesh, by providing them with a larger selection of goods and categories they wish for and make their shopping a seamless experience."
