Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai welcomes PM Modi in Google style!

Google’s newly appointed CEO, India born Sundar Pichai, has sent a personalized welcome message for PM Modi. In a Youtube video, the 43 year old tech chief said, “"There is tremendous excitement among Googlers, Indians in US for PM Modi's visit.”

He added, “It is an honour to welcome PM Narendra Modi to Silicon Valley this weekend. I hope PM Modi's visit will energise people in the Silicon Valley.”

Talking about India and Silicon Valley, Pichai said in the video, “The bond between India & Silicon Valley has been strong. India has been exporter of talent to tech companies. “Products built by Indian graduates from IIT & other institutes have revolutionised the world.”

Praising PM Modi’s Digital India initiative, Pichai averred, "India is undergoing its own revolution. This will get people in rural areas online. Low cost of bandwidth, offline strategy, affordable phones will connect more people."

Pitching the search engine giant Google for the campaign, he stated that the initiative has tremendous support from India and the Silicon Valley. “Google will look to play a part in Digital India," he said.
