Here Comes Janet Yellen...
Yellen's remarks are the most anticipated remarks of the conference, as economists are waiting to hear if she provides any clues on the future of Fed policy.
The latest agenda for Jackson Hole, however, provides no clues as to what Yellen may say, though it is expected Yellen will speak on the symposium's main topic: labor markets.
Wall Street doesn't expect Yellen's speech to forecast the path of future Fed policy the way then-Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke's Jackson Hole speeches were in 2010 and 2012.
In a note to clients ahead of Jackson Hole, Ethan Harris at Bank of America Merrill Lynch said, "we expect [Yellen] to try to say nothing interest about the policy outlook."
