Here’s how your LED TVs are made

LED TVs are almost a family member these days. While the old school TVs were limited to screen size and looked nerdy, LEDs have got the sheen on them. They alone can add flavour to your home decor. Slim and futuristic are something that make them exclusive.

But do you know how delicately these TVs are made? We recently visited Videotex, a TV manufacturing unit of Daiwa, a homegrown brand that is doing well in the domestic market. The manufacturing unit in Greater Noida is a true example of PM Modi’s dream of ‘Make in India’. While Daiwa is a brand they have launched recently, Videotex usually manufactures TVs for numerous other brands in the Indian market.

The state-of-art factory with automation at some places would give you the feel of being inside a high-end science laboratory.
