Low battery life, slow speed, less storage capacity... smartphone problems are a way of life with us Indians. We are often left wanting to throw our smartphone hard against the wall. And why wouldn’t we? Is there anything more annoying than your phone ditching you the moment you need it the most!

It's a fact that technology has come to us only years after it has been introduced and widely used in the foreign countries. And even when it has, the quality of the services has been appalling. However, India is not alone; a recent study has revealed that users worldwide are complaining about their smartphones. This even as the number of smartphone users are increasing dramatically each day.

Today, 64% of adults in the US own a smartphone. By 2020, analysts predict there will be 6.1 billion smartphone users worldwide. However, these are mere numbers till the smartphone industry is able to fill the space with success stories and that is definitely not happening till users are unhappy and complaining.

In a bid to highlight this and find solutions, Baidu (DU Battery Saver and DU Speed Booster mobile apps company) conducted an in-depth behavioral research to analyse how smartphones are being used in several key geographic regions around the world.

Take a look at how we have used them, how they have performed and what more can be done to improve the smartphone experience world over:
