Infosys-Oracle Strengthen Ties

Infosys, a global leader in technology, consulting and services, and Oracle, a leading supplier of software for information management, are extending their relationship to enhance support for solutions and services on new technology platforms. They aim to solve their joint customers’ most complex business problems via a transformation-led consulting approach. These significant announcements were made by Dr.Vishal Sikka, chief executive officer of Infosys, in his keynote address at the Oracle OpenWorld.

This announcement has already started delivering positive results for Infosys. Reports suggest, that Infosys has witnessed a jump of 1.7% in the BSE after the company extended its working relationship with Oracle.

Infosys and Oracle will expand their relationship across digital marketing, big data and Oracle Cloud Applications, underpinned by investments from Infosys in Oracle technology. Talking about this recent development, Ravi Kumar, Executive Vice President and Global Head, Oracle Practice, Infosys said, “Infosys has worked with Oracle to create a wide range of service offerings to help our joint clients take advantage of the transformational power of software. Oracle continues to develop their products to help businesses compete and grow.
