Lok Sabha Election 2019: Total Seats in Nagaland

One of the smallest states of India located in North Eastern India, Nagaland is situated adjacent to Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Manipur, the state has only one Lok Sabha Constituency. The state can therefore send one MP for the parliament from Nagaland. The Election Commission’s announcement says the state will see the Lok Sabha election 2019 polling in a single phase during the first phase of elections on April 11, 2019. The counting of votes in the state will happen on May 23 along with the other constituencies of the country. The results will be known in the same day by evening.

The present status of constituencies in Nagaland
The state of Nagaland has been the stronghold of Naga’s People Front for so long. As per the predictions, we might expect the same party to continue to hold the parliamentary seat here. However, the other parties are working vigorously in the state to see if they can have their luck this time.
