Reliance Jio effect? Vodafone rolls out new 4G plan with 70 GB data

Reliance Jio is keeping top telecom operators on their toes. As Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Jio’s competitive pricing is giving a tough time to other operators, many are slashing their prices to retain the customer base.
Latest to offer new plan is Vodafone India, which is offering 70 GB, 4G data plan at Rs 244. The plan offers 70Gb of high-speed 4G data (with a 1 GB limit per day) for 70 days and unlimited calling facility.
The plan is available for new subscribers only.
Reliance Jio rolled out Rs 309 plan, which gives 56 GB of high-speed 4G data (1GB daily) for 56 days besides unlimited calling and SMS during the validity period.
