Here's what it's like to eat at Warren Buffett's favorite steakhouse

Gorat's is located at 4917 Center St, at the corner of 49th Ave, in Omaha, Nebraska.

It's an unassuming building as you approach the building coming west on Center St.

Here's the entrance...

One of the first things you see inside the door: Warren Buffett.

A mention of Buffett dining at Gorat's after the 1989 shareholder meeting from the New York Times.

The restaurant has a map with pins marking every city in the world diners have come from.

This guy, from Pretoria, South Africa, was adding his pin.

Straight ahead is the first of several dining areas.

This section is off to your left when you walk in ...

... and has a special two-person nook that we were told Buffett often likes to utilize.

Our waitress said that this is a good spot for Buffett because security can easily see everyone that comes in and out of this dining section.

Here's a dining room for larger parties in the back.

Gorat's also has a bar area. There used to be a disco ball here: it has been modernized.

We sat at the bar and started with Gorat's famous onion rings.

Here's the important part of the menu: steaks. Buffett's preferred cut is the 22oz. T-Bone with a double-side of hash browns.

This plate is huge.

Can't emphasize enough how much food is on here.
