The British Labour Party is in the midst of a bitter war between supporters of the socialist leader Jeremy Corbyn and those who want to see him replaced by "unity candidate" Owen Smith.

The internet has become a key battleground for these rival Labour factions - especially on Facebook and Twitter, where "Corbynistas" and members of the "Save Labour movement" are using memes to criticise one another.

Predictably, not all of these memes make strong political points, and some don't appear to have that much to do with politics at all.
