Many in India are still running Windows XP on their PCs and laptops. If you are one of those, our suggestion is to quickly upgrade the operating system. A serious flaw in Internet Explorer has been found that enables hackers to access your systems memory, if you go to any malicious website. It happens in IE version 6-11 and all Windows operating systems are vulnerable to the attack. The security firm Fire Eye has found out that the attack is very active on IE versions 9-11.

Microsoft is working on an update that will take care of the problem in Windows 7 and 8, but not on the 12 year old Windows XP platform. Microsoft has stopped the security updates and patches for Windows XP OS a little while back, so that users upgrade from the ageing platform.

Microsoft Windows XP might be one of the best operating systems of its time. However, looking at the current scenario the attacks on the old XP system will only increase. Therefore it is time to upgrade quickly.
