Liz Fosslien is a freelance designer who runs a cartoon blog that pokes fun at Silicon Valley's culture.
Recently, she partnered with Salesforce to come up with a comic series on "Industry Disruption."
Salesforce says it first reached out to Fosslien for these cartoons because salespeople could use them as ice-breakers in emails or before meetings, especially when they deal with companies in old industries, like retail, healthcare, government, and finance.
"Salesforce hired Liz to create the cartoons, which we're using to illustrate disruption across vertical industries (a big focus for the company). Salespeople are using them as door-opener emails to customers, in presentations, etc," Salesforce's rep told us. "It's a fun way to spark conversation."
