Prime Minister US President Obama will have meetings with Modi for two successive days (September 29 and 30). As a special gesture, Obama will also host a rare, private dinner for Modi at the White House on September 29.
Other than Obama, Modi will have a rendezvous with the former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley.
Also on Modi’ agenda are meeting with high-profile businessmen in US. Reports suggest that he will meet a select group of 10 CEOs and have one-on-one discussions with five important corporate leaders in New York over the weekend, Modi. It is for the first time that an Indian Prime Minister will have so many engagements during his official US visit.
