Actor Vinod Khanna passes away

Yesteryears actor Vinod Khanna passed away this morning at the age of 70. He is survived by his wife Kavita Khanna, sons Rahul, Akshaye and Sakshi, and daughter Shraddha Khanna.

The actor has featured in films like "Mere Apne", "Insaaf" and "Amar, Akbar, Anthony".Besides working in more than hundred films in Hindi, he was a politician and Member of Parliament from Gurdaspur, Punjab.

Khanna was suffering from cancer since a long time. A few days back, a photo of Vinod Khanna looking sick went viral on the internet. The actor was admitted to Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital in the first week on April after reportedly suffering from severe dehydration.
