Arun Jaitley: Government ordered probe into 16 companies

The government is set look into the dealings of 16 firms including Saradha Housing, Ambujaatripuri, Artha groups of companies, Ultra Tie-up, Grand Vyapaar and Saphire Infradevelopers in the current fiscal (2015-16).These firms are reportedly involved in in illegal deposit-taking activities. Since 2012-13, the ministry has ordered probes into as many as 145 companies, most of which are from West Bengal.
