The release date of Sultan, Salman Khan’s upcoming movie with Yash Raj Films, has been announced by the producers. On Tuesday, the official handle of Yash Raj Films disclosed Eid 2016 as the release date for Sultan, and the industry has been abuzz since then.

The reason behind the buzz is that Salman’s ‘good friend’ and arch competitor Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming movie Raees would also be releasing on the same day, as disclosed by producer Ritesh Sidhwani.
Speculation on #Raees release date! It all ends this Eid.. Chalo time for me to take a dip in the warm waters of #tenerife

There hasn’t been a bigger clash in Bollywood since a long time, and the last time Salman and Shah Rukh Khan collided on the box office was in 2006, when Salman’s Jaan-e-mann and Shah Rukh’s Don released on the same date. However, it was a clean sweep for Don because Jaan-e-mann was a critical and commercial disaster. However, times have changed for Salman Khan who now sets new records at Box office with every new movie that he stars in. This is the reason that Eid 2016 will prove to be the moment of the biggest clash of titans for Bollywood.
Talking of Sultan, it’s the story of a 40-year old wrestler and the wrestler look of Salman, who has one of the best bodies in Bollywood, has been kept under wraps as of now.
