Burger King will swap your unwanted Christmas presents for burgers on Boxing Day
Reuters
The first 500 people to bring in unwanted gifts to the fast food chain's Leicester Square restaurant on Boxing Day will get a flame-grilled Whopper in return.
The restaurant will donate all gifts brought in to charity.
Burger King, which unveiled a brand new menu last month, will also open the offer to customers on social media.
Customers are being encouraged to post a picture of their questionable gift on Facebook and Twitter with the hashtag #WhopperExchange in order to get a gift card to redeem at their local branch.
The offer, which will run from 10am to 6pm on December 26, is also available in select restaurants in Brazil and the USA.
Sides aren't included, but there are no restrictions on the gift you can bring - however, presents will be approved or rejected according to staff's discretion.
