The first look of the eighth season of Bigg Boss, the most controversial and yet the most awaited show of India, is finally out.
In the 30-second teaser, Salman Khan, the fifth-time host can be seen dressed up as a pilot ready to take off a flight. Looking dapper in a pilot suit, Salman can be spotted wearing aviators and his trademark Firoza bracelet.

Now, this look is exactly what got us thinking about the new season of Bigg Boss.

If reports are to be believed, this year, the Bigg Boss house will be given the look of an aircraft, and everything in the house, be it the furniture or the bed, would carry the feel of an aircraft.

However, the final setting would be discovered only at the night of the premier, which is expected to be in September end or October starting.

Till then, all we can think about are the possible angles to this ‘aircraft’ thing. Here is a list of what we think could happen.

The international vibe can mean that there are going to be some international celebs on the show. While we have had Jade Goody, Claudia Ciesla, Pamela Anderson, Vida Samadzai and Andrew Symonds in the house in earlier seasons, it would be good to see some more popular contestants coming in for a longer stay.

The cross-borders reference can also mean that this time, the sets of the Bigg Boss house would be set up somewhere outside India, which would justify the aircraft look of the teaser.

The third angle of the aircraft look can be that of a kind of reference to the recent accidents involving the Malaysian, Algerian and Taiwanese airlines. (This angle has been suggested by the Wikipedia page of Bigg Boss 8).

Another insight into Bigg Boss 8 is the change in the sponsor of the show. For the past five seasons, Vodafone was the sponsor of the reality show; however, this time, that deal has been taken up by Snapdeal, the e-commerce giant of India.

In the past, Snapdeal has sponsored MTV Roadies and some other MTV shows.

With the change in sponsors, earlier hypes about Salman not hosting the show, the various possible aircraft angles, and the probable list of contestants changing everyday, there is a lot to be seen in Bigg Boss this year, and Business Insider India will keep you updated about the happenings.
