Elon Musk just gave us a glimpse of the wild horses that roam near Tesla's Gigafactory
Tesla's massive Gigafactory in Sparks, Nevada is the core of CEO Elon Musk's various operations, so it's no surprise he makes time to visit when he can.
Musk stopped by the Gigafactory on Wednesday and gave us a nice glimpse of the plant's breathtaking scenery. The factory is surrounded by mountains and wild horses can regularly be seen roaming the hillside.
This isn't the first time we've seen the mustangs playing on the hills. The Associated Press also saw the wild creatures in 2014 when Tesla first broke ground on the giant battery plant.

The Gigafactory will play a key role in helping Tesla meet its lofty goal of producing 500,000 vehicles annually in 2018, a five-fold production increase. The electric car maker is producing its lithium-ion batteries at the plant as part of a partnership with Panasonic.
The $5 billion plant doesn't only supply the batteries for the Model S, Model X, and newly released Model 3 vehicles. It also supports Tesla's growing energy division, which develops the company's at-home battery, the Powerwall, and commercial battery, the Powerpack.
The Gigafactory is currently operational, but isn't expected to be fully operational until 2020. When it's finished, the factory will be the world's largest building by footprint at 5.5 million square feet.
