Before she started college, runner Morolake Akinosun made a bold prediction: That someday she would make the US Olympic team.

On July 28, 2011, she decided to make that prediction official by posting it on Twitter. That day, she tweeted: "In 2016, I will be 22, graduated from a school I have not chosen yet, and going to the olympics (:"

Lo and behold - five years later - she has made that dream a reality. On July 30, she took to Twitter again, linking back to that 2011 tweet and sharing a few updates on her progress: "It's 2016. I graduate from Texas in December. I'm going to the Olympics next week," she wrote.
