TheGartner study also predicts a rise in tablet market. It cites that the tablet sales across the globe will register 8% growth; to reach 233 million units in 2015 as against 214 million units in 2014.
A PTI report quotedRanjit Atwal , Gartner research director, saying: "The collapse of the tablet market in 2014 was alarming. In the last two years, global sales of tablets were growing in double-digits.”

The research firm also estimated that thePC market (desktops and notebooks) will grow about 1% in 2015.
