Flash sales and airfare reduction have become quite a norm in Indian aviation industry. Spicejet, IndiGo and other players keep coming up with flash sales and offers, and Vistara is the latest to join the league. The company has announced that it will offer a premium economy ticket to every business class passenger, who would be flying between August 12 and September 30, 2015.

"We are very pleased to share with you that we will be welcoming our 5,00,000th customer this month,” said a release by the airline.

“We will present all our business class customers, travelling from August 12 to September 30, one complimentary premium economy class ticket on the Vistara network," reported the Economic Times, citing its release.

Vistara, a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines, is the first airline in India to have a premium economy product on its aircraft.

The loads in the premium economy cabin of Vistara is a concern for the airline, which is trying ways like upgrading select economy class passengers to the premium economy cabin.
