HERE COMES JOBLESS CLAIMS...

At 8:30 a.m. ET, the Department of Labor will release its report on weekly unemployment insurance claims.

Economists estimate that claims ticked down to 330,000 during the week ending August 31, down from 331,000 the week prior.

"[T]he fact that jobless claims have been consistently below 350k-a key level that has been commensurate with 200kplus
nonfarm payroll growth in the past-bodes well for Friday's report," said Deutsche Bank's Brett Ryan.
