Here comes the Beige Book ...

The Federal Reserve is set to release its latest Beige Book economic report at the top of the hour.

The Beige Book is a collection of anecdotes about the economy compiled by each of the Fed's 12 District banks.

The Beige Book gives us a reading on how consumers are spending money, how various labor markets are doing, and in recent months has given us a bit of a closer look on how the crash in oil prices has impacted local economies.
