Indi.com set to launch in India, finds an investor in Anil Kapoor

After producing movies, television serials, and acting in a Hollywood movie, looks like The website allows users to create and monetise content by sharing videos while also letting them integrate multiple social networks. Not only this, it also enables artists, retailers, NGOs, celebrities and individuals to connect with fans and supporters and interact with them using video.
It was started in 2012 in South California by e-commerce veterans Neel Grover and Greg Giraudi, both of whom were associated with Buy.com, Rakuten.com and Bluefly.com. The official US launch happened in 2013, after which it’s all set for its India launch on April 28.
Talking of the investors, Divyansh Bajpai, former managing partner at Nova Travel, and Shikha Uberoi, former Indian American professional tennis player have also funded the project.
"Indi is my way of giving back to India and paying forward all the opportunities my country has given me. I believe in the ideal of Indi as a way of empowering the next generation of talented individuals to let their voices be heard," Kapoor said.

Not only has Kapoor backed the product as an investor, he has also agreed to be the face of Indi.com India, having already shot a commercial for Indi.com.
