Overwhelmed with response during its festive season sale, Snapdeal has decided to make the most of it till Diwali.
Snapdeal will now host festive sales every Monday till Diwali as it is looking to grow its business multi-fold and overtake its rivals.
“The e-commerce marketplace, which is gunning for the top spot by sales this fiscal to overtake rivalFlipkart , has already grown sales ten times during the just concluded online Diwali shopping week as compared to the week before,” Snapdeal's vice present (category development) Rahul Taneja told ET.
Snapdeal, which delivered five million packages till October 15, wants to speed up its delivery process as well.
Reportedly, Snapdeal, recently, raked in money in its back-end like fulfilment centres and talent.
It had invested more than $100 million in logistics earlier this year. Snapdeal now has warehousing space of 1.3 million square feet, 63 fulfilment centres across 25 cities.
