Royal Enfield, India’s answer to the Harley is a big hit!

Getting a hike of more than 50% isn’t bad. Royal Enfield, the two-wheeler division of Eicher Motors, has bettered its sales performance this year by almost 59%. Compared to last FY’s 26,643 units, the premium two wheelers’ company in India, has sold 42,360 units till August this year.Sales in the domestic market zoomed 59.25 % to 41,600 units, from 26,121 in the same month last year.
Exports during the month rose 45.59 % to 760 units compared with 522 in July 2014.
Known for being the Harley Davidson of India, Royal Enfield has been the premium choice of avid bikers for its comfort and kingly looks.
Inspired by its India performance, Royal Enfield has also plans to enter Indonesian two wheeler market soon.
