Snapdeal appoints new Chief Technology Officer

Snapdeal has appointed Rajiv Mangla as its Chief Technology Officer. Mangla would be in charge of the company’s technology, and lead its 1000 people strong technology team.

Prior to his current appointment at Snapdeal, Mangla spent about 10 years at Adobe Systems where he most recently served as VP Engineering, Digital Marketing.

Speaking about his appointment, Mangla said, “I am buckled up for a fast paced journey with Snapdeal which is both socially as well as intellectually rewarding!”

Rohit Bansal, co-founder of Snapdeal has welcomed Mangla onboard, “We are delighted to have Rajiv onboard and wish him a great journey ahead with Snapdeal family.”

The e-commerce major has been on a hiring spree for a while. Previously it hired Anand Chandrasekaran ex-CPO Bharti Airtel, Amitava Ghosh ex CTO Taxi for Sure and Viraj Chatterjee ex Director Engineering, Adobe Systems as core members of the technology team.
