At the end of every year, Apple releases its collection of the best podcasts of the year. This year's list contains a mixture of everything - from off-beat comedy and intellectual debate to fictional series and scientific investigations.

We've collected all of Apple's top picks for the best "classic" and "new" podcasts in one tidy place for you to learn more about each one and subscribe to your favorites. Of note: Apple named "Mystery Show" the best new podcast and "WTF with Marc Maron" the best classic podcast of 2015.
